Teadit Pump Packing

Armstrong Energy stock a range of Teadit pump packing materials such as Graphite, PTFE and Kevlar.

Suitable for a wide range of applications, Teadit 2001 is extremely versitile for use in pumps and valves and difficult sealing applications.
Caters for a variety of aggressive media at both very low and very high temperatures including steam, water, oils, condensate, alkalies, acids, solvents paints, varnishes, and most chemcals with the exception of highly oxidising agents.
Low coefficient of friction for high torque operation.
Excellent thermal conductivity.
Diagonally braided from pure graphite yarn treated with corrosion inhibitor and densified with pure graphite powder.

Compatible in environments such as:

Combines the benefits of a coil-form packing with the sealing efficiency of pre-formed pure graphite rings
High pressure and extrusion resistance
Excellent thermal conductivity
Suitable for a wide range of temperatures from -200˚C up to +650˚C in steam and non-oxidizing gasses and up to +450˚C in oxidizing media
Pressures up to 400 bar can be sealed under mechanical conditions at lower temperatures
A diagonal braid of pure, expanded flexible braided ribbons reinforced with fine metal wires

Applications include:

Resistant to nearly all fluids and gases including the most corrosive acids and alkalis Teadit 2005 is a very supple packing with consistently high density and flexibility
A universal valve packing with extremely long packing life, fast and simple to install with minimum maintenance requirements
Can be very finely adjusted to to reduce emissions (leakage) to very low levels
Malleability and heat transfer properties are enhanced by this special type of filled ePTFE yarn
Conforms to FDA regulations for use with foodstuffs, potable water, and pharmaceutical products
Very low coefficient of friction
BAM approved for use with oxygen
Ideal for nearly all media including the most aggressive although not suitable for molten alkali metals and fluorine compounds at high temperatues and pressures
Braided from a new type of proprietary yarn made from expanded PTFE with highly refined mineral filler particles
