What is PVC?

Polyvinylchloride (PVC) is a commonly used polymer plastic due to its availability and cost effectiveness. PVC is available in rod, tubes, sheet and pipe. PVC and PVC pipes can be cut or machined, including threaded, slotted or drilled pipes, as per customer specification.

What sizes do PVC pipes come in?

  • Pipe sizes range from DN 15 to DN 375

  • Standard pipe lengths include 3m and 6m however, can be supplied in all sizes up to 6.1m lengths.

  • Our PVC pipes can be manufactured with a specific end or joint including straight, threaded, solvent weld or rubber ring joint.

What are machined PVC pipes?

PVC pipes are machined in our workshop as per customer specifications. Pipes can be threaded, slotted or drilled.

Threaded pipes - PVC pipes are threaded in our workshop using out automated pipe feeding machining and drill station. Pipes can be machined with female and/or male threads to enable a pipe join. The female thread is machined on the inside, whilst the male thread is on the outside of the pipe.

Slotted pipes - Slotted pipes are machined on-site using our automated pipe feeding machining and drilling station with CNC lathe to ensure uniform slots and consistent quality. Slot size and pattern depends on the application, drainage purposes and amount being drained. Half or full perforations can be done.

Drilled pipes - Drilled pipes are machined on-site using our automated pipe feeding machining and drilling station with CNC lathe to ensure uniform holes and consistent quality. Hole size and location depends on the application and purpose of the pipe.

Other information

  • PVC pipes are supplied in suitable packaging. If required, threaded pipes can be packaged in LDPE heat shrink wrap for UV protection. These can be retained in wooden bearers and straps for transportation protection. 

  • Manufactured to standard AS/NZS 1477 and WaterMark COC.
